In April 2018, the Green Jiangnan Public Environmental Concern Center of Suzhou Industrial Park (hereinafter referred to as "Green Jiangnan") received a report from a resident of Liujiagang, Taicang, Suzhou City, which reported that Jiangsu Hanqing Special Alloy Co., Ltd. The river on the north side of the factory discharges waste water, causing river pollution. We hope that Green Jiangnan will help and promote the solution of the pollution problem. The geographic locations of the reported companies are shown in Figure 1.

On April 17, 2018, the staff of Green Jiangnan came to the site for investigation and found that the river on the north side of the company was as described by the reporter. The color is whitish. The pollution situation of the river is shown in Figure 3.

During the investigation, the staff also found that two drains were draining into the river. The specific locations of the drains are shown in Figure 1. On the day of the survey, it was a sunny day. Outlet 1 was discharging milky white water into the river, while Outlet 2 was discharging unidentified water into the river, accompanied by a large amount of white foam floating on the surface of the river. On April 24, 2018, Green Jiangnan submitted the "Investigation Report on Water Pollution in Liujiagang, Taicang, Suzhou" to the environmental protection department.

On May 4, 2018, Taicang Environmental Protection Bureau called and briefly explained the cause of the pollution: the municipal sewage pipe network in this section was blocked, and the sewage in the sewage pipe network was poured back into the factory area and then overflowed into the river on the north side of the enterprise through the rainwater pipe network. Unblocking repairs.

On May 11, 2018, Green Jiangnan received a written reply from the Taicang Environmental Protection Bureau. The specific content is shown in the figure below.
