On August 8th, 2018, SIP Lvse Jiangnan Public Environment Concerned Centre (hereinafter referred to as “PECC”) found two drainage outlets during a routine inspection in Wujiang. The specific location is shown in Figure 1.

Drainage outlet 1 is located at the lower end of the western fence of the plant of Suzhou Kangquan Precision Machinery Co., Ltd., which is enriched with white substances around the outlet, and the water from the drainage flowing into the river is white, and the research is conducted on a clear day, excluding the possibility of discharging rainwater. The specific site conditions are shown in Figure 2-(1~3).

Drainage outlet 2 is located at the northwest corner of Dongcheng Bridge in Tong’an West Road, Wanping Town, Wujiang. This outlet is discharging black water, whose water flow is not large, and there are no residents on the side of the outlet (west side of the river). The scene is shown in Figure 3-1~2.

On August 9th, 2018, PECC submitted the “Explanation of Water Pollution in Wanping Town, Wujiang, Suzhou” to Suzhou Wujiang Environmental Protection Bureau.

On August 23rd, 2018, PECC received a written reply from Suzhou Wujiang Environmental Protection Bureau. The specific content is shown in the figure below.
